Our Class Chain and Peg Chart

In 3 GOLD we have a whole class reward system and a Peg Chart. The children will explain how we use these in the class.

Children's Blog:

Every time we get a compliment for the whole class we get a link in a chain. We work hard to get our chain the reach the floor. When in reaches the floor we get reward time as a whole class. In week 5 our chain reached the floor and we got free time in the classroom. Our chain is being used as decoration now.

We get to add to our chain when we receive a complement or we respond straight away to Miss Veling. In week 5 we got free time together as a class because our chain reacher the floor. It was fun! Now we are working hard to make the chain reach the floor again.

We love when we get compliments we can earn a chain. We all work together as a team to earn a chain. When our chain reaches the floor Miss Veling chooses how we can spend time together as a class. In week 5 we got to have some free time playing together in the classroom. It was fun! We can't wait till our chain reaches the floor.

In 3 Gold we have a peg chart. Everyday we start on ready to learn. We each have our own peg. When we have been good or do good things in class we can move our peg up. When you move it up twice you get a dot on the chart. When you get 5 dots you get a SAPPHIRE!!! When everyone on your table has one sapphire your table has some free time together. You can also move your peg down which isn't a good thing so we are always trying to do the right thing in 3 Gold so we get to move out peg up.

This Weeks Challenge

Two numbers multiply to make 360. One of them has a zero on the end. What might the two numbers be?

  1. I worked out that the two numbers were 60 and 6. Because 6 x 6 = 36 and if you add a zero to 36 and a zero to 6 it works out to be 360

  4. Hi Miss Veling. The answer is 12 x 3 x 10 = 360. So 120 x 3 = 360 or 12 x 30 = 360. From Ruby Fry
